Paypal question

Dear Ed, I might like to help with Fernando, but I could not open the paypal account. Is there some other way of forwarding money? Western Union, perhaps?

Karen Nalos

Dear Karen,

That is a good question. There are a few ways you can do it. You can still pay at Paypal with your credit card.

Besides that, pastor Harold Oberschlake from Open Heaven Ministries in Ohio is a good friend of mine. He has offered to help those who don’t have a Paypal accont plus he can make your offering tax deductable. So, please read on his message bellow:

Pastor Harold Oberschlake said:

I realize that some of you, Ed & Dani’s friends, may not have a PayPal acct & find it difficult to give to this cause.
So, after talking to Ed I want to offer another way to give.

We have a ministry called Open Heaven Ministries.
Ed & Dani are very connected to us & our ministry.
I went to Brazil twice & have hosted them in southern Ohio a few times.

If you do not have a PayPal acct & you don’t want to give your credit card or bank info online to start one, this might help.
We want to give you the option of giving to this cause thru Open Heaven.
You can write a check to OHM & we will PayPal every cent to Ed for Fernando.
You will get a tax deductible contributions receipt for your giving at the end of the year.

If you want to give to Fernando thru OHM : write your ck to OHM, write Ed Rocha or Brazil on the memo line & mail to the address
listed below.

Email me if you want to let me know you are sending an offering & I will inform you when we get it. My email is ohm@openheavenministries.com

We strongly believe in the Rocha’s ministry & we are glad to be a part of their lives in this new venture.

If you have any questions, please ask by email.

Blessings to all!

What does SKWELCH mean?

March 5, 2010
by skwelch

Afterall, what does SKWELCH mean?

Skwelch is the spelling of the pronunciation of the verb “squelch”. I didn’t know what the verb “squelch” meant 14 years ago when the Lord first spoke it to me.

It was the first and only time I ever heard God’s audible voice. He told me my ministry would be called Squelch and I was supposed to get people out of a life of sin and get them strong with the Lord.

He gave me the text in Psalm 40:2 as a motto. First I read the Bible in Psalm 40 verse 2. Then, I had no idea of what Squelch meant so, I looked it up on the dictionary:

Dictionary:
squelch |skwelch |
verb [ intrans. ]
make a soft sucking sound such as that made by taking the feet out of the mud: The boyscout squelched out of the mire and onto the rocks by the river.

My eyes were filled with tears when I saw the first meaning. You see the connection? Psalm 40:2 and Squelch? Yes, that is the sound they make when they get their feet off the mud of sin!

I love all other meanings of the verb, for example, suppress and crush, yes, lets suppress and crush the devil! Always!

Love,

Ed Rocha

I will give!  I am off today for a Toronto meeting with Heidi Baker, but send me the address and I would love to invest in Fernando’s life.  I am way behind on my emails so I am just reading all about him.  Bless you Ed–we have a prophecy over our ministry that we will minister to transvestites so I am deeply moved by Fernando’s story.

More glory and power over your life and ministry!

Fernando, ex-transvestive, needs a home

March 4, 2010
by skwelch

Thanks Terry. This is the spirit. That is correct, if we get 48 people to give only $75 we can rent Fernando an apartment near us for a whole year!

So I want to challenge you all, like Terry said, if each one of us gives $75 we can get Fernando in an apartment near our home where I can disciple him and help him become the man God has destined him to be.

Please help this young man scape from the grip of the devil and prostitution once and for all.

Jus for the record, in my 25 years of Christianity, 13 years in pastoral ministry and 5 years working under Randy Clark, I never asked a penny to anyone!

But in Fernando’s case I clearly heard from God this is what I am supposed to do, share the load with the family!
That is why I am not ashamed for asking, because I am not asking for myself.

This is a picture of Fernando doing a prophetic act on top of a mountain where we went to pray for Brazil.

To donate the $75 or any other amount with your credit card, please click on the link bellow.

If you have any questions about how the money will be used, please email me with your question and I will answer you thoroughly.

Thanks again for all those who are helping in prayer. It is a spiritual battle for the demons who left his body want it back, and it has not been easy. So, please intercede.

Wow!  I thought you would have gotten the whole amount already!  If everyone
on this email gives $75 it is covered!  Come on people!  Maybe I can talk
three of you into giving $75.00 by saying I will match the first three gifts
of $75.00!  Just reply to all and say “Terry, match me!”  The first three I
will match!  Let’s get this guy off the streets and in a place close to Ed
where he can be discipled!  Let’s not throw him back to the wolves!!!  Hmm,
what were you gonna do with your tax refund?  ;-)

Gary’s question

My dear brother,

We will faithfully contribute to meet his needs.  Please let me know
what kind of response you receive and I will take the matter in prayer.

Thank you brother for all that you do.

Dear Gary,

So far the response has been good, but it could be better.

Three people answered my email for Fernando.

Two gave a love offering of 100 dollars, one gave a love offering of
50 dollars and one said she will pray for him.

I believe many people haven’t even seen the email yet and many more
will contribute because they know our hearts and our character.

Unfortunately, if we don’t get enough to cover the yearly rent for
Fernando, like I planned, I will not dare to rent the apartment for I do not
know how long Fernando will take to get a job since he has no experience
working with anything else but prostitution.

So, I will wait for a month. In April, if we don’t have enough for
the apartment, I will just bless Fernando with the amount we gather. He is
in desperate need for financial help, so, the offering will be great for him
to buy clothing, some personal items he needs, pay some bills, etc.

I personally would rather not give him money but teach him how to
become a better man and get a job but, his situation is really odd. You see,
he has never been a man. Now he dresses like a man but he talks and walks
like a girl. So, he needs constant discipleship, correction and support.
That is why I’d like him close to us.

Oh, well, we will see. God is in control.

Much love my friend,

Ed Rocha

Fernando, ex-transvestite – Short version

March 4, 2010
by skwelch

Hi, this is the short version of the article: Fernando, ex-transvestite, needs your help”.

To see the whole article, please scroll down this website.

This young man with me on the picture above is Fernando Arcanjo. When Dani and I first met him, Fernando was dressed like a woman, had long blond hair, was wearing a tiny mini skirt and high heels. Fernando told us he had been prostituting himself for money since he was 12. When we laid hands on him he manifested the demons that were ruling over his life, we had a delivery time with him. He repeated the sinners prayer after us and he gave his heart to Jesus.

Fernando lives in a city 2 to 3 hours drive from where we live. I felt in my heart the desire to continue to pastor Fernando but, our home now only has one bedroom. We can not host him here. We need to rent him an apartment. But Fernando has no training nor skills in any area since he was prostituting himself since he was 14. We helped him finish a course on hotelier but he has no experience so, it’s been difficult getting him a job.

For those who would like to help Fernando financially, please read the financial details below for instructions.

For those who can’t help with money but still would like to participate in this project, please put Fernando’s name on your intercession list and remember to say a word of prayer for him before the Lord.

Thank you my friend.

May the Lord continually bless and provide for you.

FINANCIAL DETAILS

We are truing to get 48 people to give a one time offering of $75 dollars. If we manage to get that we can make sure Fernando will have his apartment rent paid for a year.

You can send your offering with your credit card simply by clicking on the Paypal button bellow and following a couple of easy steps.

Above all things, we value character. Therefore, Dani and I will keep detailed records of all the money received and how it is spent, and will send monthly reports to those who choose to contribute.

Thank you and may the Lord give bless you in every area of your life.

Keep the fire burning! (Lev 13.6)
